Favorite Products to Beat the Winter Chill!

Living in cold climates can be a major bummer.  You have cold air and warm heat inside which plays havoc on your skin.  I am from the Midwest so coming up with my favorite product list to beat the winter chill has come with some trials and tribulations.  I keep telling my husband that I understand now why people move to Florida!  At any rate, here are some of my favorite products and happy Winter wherever you may be...

Terry Rose Balm is the best lip balm that I have ever used, hands down.  It is rich and emollient with a subtle rose scent.  I just love this.  I love using it before bed and I wake up with super soft lips.  It is also great to take a little dab over your lip liner or lipstick for a perfectly plump pout.  It is really pricey, $60 for the little jar, but I can assure you that a little goes a long way and it will take you through the Winter season.  If you have used any of Terry's other products, please let me know.  I love this so much!

Clarins - Multi-Active Skin Renewal SerumClarins - Bright Plus HP Repairing Brightening Night CreamI am a devout Clarins fanatic.  I never used to stick to one beauty brand, but over the last two years I have transitioned nearly all my facial products to with Clarins.  There are a couple products that I just hate to be without.  I love the Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum which I use before my moisturizer.  It gives me a glow. Ingredients include the Nopal Flower extract which gently encourages the skin to exfoliate.  And before bed I follow with Clarins Bright Plus HP Repairing Brightening Night Cream which is a wonder cream.  I wake up with new skin, literally.  I am addicted.  I use this year-round, but it works really well for dull Winter skin.

Clarins - Moisture-Rich Body LotionAnd since I am on a Clarins kick, the Moisture Rich Body Lotion is fab.  It is creamy, not greasy and like all Clarins products, has a light and beautiful scent.  I slather this stuff on.  Love.  Clarins has other specialty body creams to target different issues from stretch marks to cellulite and hand/nail cream.  Clarins doesn't disappoint so if you are ready to try a new brand, I obviously highly recommend their products.

butter LONDON - Stiletto Stick Hydrating Heel BalmCracked heels no more.  butter of London makes a fantastic-ly rich heel balm, so no excuses for cracking, dry feet.  I slather this one as well.  I can't have my pedicurist look at these dreadful feet; at least i have made the effort!  butter London calls their product the Stiletto Stick.  This stick gives instant relief for your little tootsies.  It should be a part of any pedi kit.

Josie Maran - Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-Hydrating Body ButterTom Ford Lip Color in Blush Nude Lip Color is the perfect accessory to a clean and moisturized face.  They use exotic products such as the soja seed extract. Brazilian murmur butter and chamomile flower oil which provides an ultra-creamy texture and very smooth application.  At $48 is might feel pricey, but it is like having your own little lip treatment rolled into sumptuous colors with a cool case to boot, worth every penny.  I love the nude colors season-round.

Josie Maran - Argan Hot Oil Self-Heating Hair TreatmentFinally, I wanted to share a couple of new products that I have tried by Josie Maran.  She has a Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-Hydrating Body Butter which is amazing.  It is super moisturizing and I can smell just the faintest scent of lavender before bed which is a plus.  And we cannot forget our hair.  Hopefully you wash less and moisturize more.  I discovered Josie Maran's Argan Hot Oil Self-Heating Hair Treatment.  It gives intense moisture an shine in just 60 seconds.   It is loaded with Vitamin E which helps to reverse damage from heat, over-styling.  Best of all you can use it in the shower.  It reminds me of the little Vo5 tubes that I used when I was a kid.  So give these a try as they are loaded with things that your hair is crying out for in the Winter months!

So these are some of my absolute favorite Winter products.  Who says you can't create your own spa inside during these chilly days - you feel a great pick-me-up!

Tell me about your favorite products or treatments best used for the Winter.

Cheers!
